'''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), January 15, 1897, p. 5, col. 3 Nick Hein, age about 50 years, died at his home about four miles northeast of the city Sunday afternoon of cancer of the stomach. The deceased was an upright, industrious citizen and had many friends. The funeral was held from St. Mary's church in this city at 10 o'clock a.m., Tuesday. Rev. Father Bronenkant of Lawrence, Neb., preached the sermon in German and was assisted in the ceremonies by the resident pastor, Rev. Father Roche. The deceased leaves a wife and five grown children to mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and father.
