Bio

Bedrich August "Fred" Peters, 87, of Seymour died Monday, December 14, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital. Rosary was said at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour with the Reverend Richard Eldredge officiating. Burial was in Seymour Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Peters was born April 11, 1911, in Baylor County, Texas. He and Christine Marak were married February 24, 1936, in Bomarton, Texas. She died August 16, 1992. He moved to Cache Creek community in 1915. He was a farmer and a school bus driver for Seymour I.S.D. for 20 years. He retired in 1976. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the K.J.T. Lodge and the Knights of Columbus. A son, Fred Peters, Jr., died August 9, 1973. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia John of Brownsville, Texas, Jeanette Campbell of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Pamela Kelley of Mesquite, Texas; a son, Raymond of Keller, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
