The Brookshire Times, Thursday, October 12, 1967: Services were held for Louis Maler last Friday, October 6, 1967, in Sealy. Mr. Maler had been in ill health for some time and died on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Maler had been residents of the Brookshire area for many years before moving to Sealy several years ago. Pete Etlinger Funeral Home was in charge of the service. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louise Maler of Sealy; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Rosie) Machala and Mrs. Jimmy (Mary Ann) Kalil, both of Houston; two sons, August Maler of East Bernard and Ted Maler of Brookshire; also eleven grandchildren, including Gary, Seleta, and Don Maler of Brookshire. **************************************************************************************************** Son of Ludwig Maler
