MARY ANN MALER KALIL, 92, of Friendswood, TX passed away on Saturday, August 02, 2014. She was born on August 21, 1921 to Louis Maler and Louise Mlcak Maler in Frydek, TX. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing games with her family and friends. Mary Ann enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas and Fairfield, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed watching the Astros, Rockets and the Texans games on T.V. Her greatest joy was spending time with her dearly loved grandchildren. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Margaret Bucsanyi and her husband Buddy, Melrose Burr and her husband Don and Melody Stewart; son, Jimmy Kalil, Jr. and his wife Sandy; 11 grandchildren, Scott Bucsanyi, Wendy Buchman, Angel Bucsanyi, Danette Duncza, Price Mayfield, III, Corrie Davis, Jimmy Kalil, III, Christy Larkin, Gary Loggains, Tammy Liebmann, and Gayle Lanoy. She was also blessed with great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and cherished friends. Friends are cordially invited to the visitation on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Kimbel Nobels officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 with Rev. Benny Thadathilkunnel, M.S. officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX.
