Seward Independent-Democrat (Seward, Nebr.), October 23, 1930, p. 5, col. 4 GARLAND Mr. and Mrs. John Walla are the proud parents of a baby daughter born Saturday. '''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 5, 1931, p. 3, col. Dwight (2). Emalie Alice Walla, three-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Walla of Dwight, died Saturday afternoon of double pneumonia. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church, Dwight, Monday forenoon, Rev. Father Horacek conducting the services. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
