Daughter of Antonie Navrkalova. Also known as Marie Chromy following her mother's marriage to Matej Chromy. Born in the village of Blatnice, Moravia, Austrian Empire, now in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, Okres Třebíč, Vysočina, Czech Republic. Married Frantisek Treblik at Prilozany on September 24, 1867. Mrs. Treblik passed away at the home of her youngest daughter Mrs. Frank J. Styskal on December 19, 1931, in David City. Deceased leaves to mourn her death five children, Mrs. J. C. Rezac of Abercrombie, North Dakota; Mrs. Joseph Zitek, Ulysses; Mrs. Joe Disney, Lodgepole; Mrs. Frank Styskal of David City; and Mrs. Frank Melotz of Omaha. Funeral services were held from the Catholic church at Dwight and burial was in the Dwight cemetery. Mrs. Maria Katerine Treblik, long-time resident of Butler county, died Saturday, Dec. 19, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank J. Styskal, in Northeast David City, in her 90th year. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Dwight at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, and burial was in the Dwight cemetery. Mrs. Treblik was born in Austria March 9, 1842, and was married there to Frank Treblik, they coming to America in 1879. Mrs. Treblik is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Styskal, Mrs. J. C. Rezac of Abercrombie, N. Dak., Mrs. Joseph Zitek of Ulysses, Mrs. Joseph Disney of Lodgepole and Mrs. Fred Melotz of Omaha.
