Born in the village Prilozany, town of M. Budej, county of Znojmo, Moravia, Austrian Empire, now in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, Okres Třebíč, Vysočina, Czech Republic. ''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), March 21, 1918, p. 1, col. 5 HOMESTEADED NEAR LINWOOD Frank Treblic, Who Died March 17, Had Lived Here Long. A resident of Butler county for 36 years, Frank Treblic passed away Sunday, March 17, at 8 a.m. at the Joseph Zitek home near Ulysses. Death was from his advanced age. He was ill but three weeks. Mr. Treblic was 83 years and seven months old at the time of his death. He was born in Moravia, was married there in 1865 to Miss Mary Nevrkal and came to the United States in 1882, 36 years ago. He came to Nebraska and took homestead land in Butler county, 2½ miles east of Linwood. The land was the Treblic home until nine years ago. On account of Mr. Treblic's age he was compelled to give up farm work, so he and his wife went to the Zitek home to live. After staying there a year they went to the Frank Styskal home near Appleton and had lived there ever since. They went to the Zitek home again a few weeks ago to remain until Mr. and Mrs. Styskal were located at their home in David City. Mrs. Treblic, one son and six daughters survive Mr. Treblic. The son, Frank Treblic, lives near Goodland, Kas. The daughters are: Mrs. Rose Rezac, of Abercrombie, S. Dak.; Mrs. Fannie Zitek, of Ulysses; Mrs. Mary Disney of Lodgepole; Mrs. Tony Martin, of Sidney; Mrs. Anna Malotz, of Omaha; and Mrs. Josie Styskal, of David City. Two children died in infancy. All of the children, except Mrs. Rezac, were in attendance at the funeral of their father. Mrs. Rezac was at the bedside of her father a week before his death. Fred Malotz came from Omaha with Mrs. Malotz to the funeral. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Catholic church in Dwight and burial was in the cemetery at Dwight. Rev. Father Pazourek conducted the services.
