Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), November 27, 1958, p. 2, col. 6 & 7 Nicholas Reisdorff Burial Held November 19 Funeral services were held November 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Nicholas Reisdorff, 85, who died at Convalescent Manor in Lincoln, Nov. 16. Father Clarence Reisdorff, a nephew of Mr. Reisdorff, officiated at the 9:30 a.m. services. Music was by St. Mary's School Choir. Pallbearers were Evan Drozda, Fred N. Birkel, Francis Steiner, Harry Reisdorff, Leonard Hilger and Sylvester Hilger. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Reisdorff, son of John and Mary Reisdorff, was born May 18, 1873, at Chicago, Ill. Coming to Nebraska with his parents at the age of five, he lived near David City until 1901, when he moved to Lincoln, and resided there until his death. Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by three brothers, John J. and Peter C. of David City and Jake M. Reisdorff of Omaha, two sisters Mrs. Mary Hilger of David City and Mrs. Margaret Drozda of Lincoln. Those attending the services from away were from Omaha, Lincoln, Schuyler, Shelby, Hebron and Bellwood.
