Evelyn E. Michalski, 64 1946-2011 Evelyn Emilie Michalski, 64, of Lincoln, NE, died Thurs., Sept. 22, 2011. Mass of the Christian Burial was held Mon., Sept. 26 at North American Martyrs Catholic Church in Lincoln. Burial was in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Lincoln. Evelyn was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Week's Hospital at Ord, NE, to Lew and Emma Bilka. She attended grade school through the eighth grade at Dist. #32 in Valley County and graduated from Burwell High School in 1964. On May 7, 1966, she married Dwaine Michalski at St. Mary's Church in Elyria, NE. They moved to Lincoln in May 1966 and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church for 27 years, while raising two sons. They moved in 1993, becoming very active members of North American Martyrs Catholic Church in Lincoln. They celebrated 45 years of marriage. Evelyn was a lifetime member of WFLA Lodge Slavin #112 of Comstock and a member of Capital City Czech Choraliers from 2005 until the present. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, volunteering at church and school, dancing and singing, fishing, playing cards and games, baking, sewing, and needlework and was an exquisite cook. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dwaine; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darwin and Delia Michalski of Lincoln and Jason Michalski of Justin, TX; and five grandchildren, Jake, Wade, Alivia and Maria Michalski of Lincoln and Collin Michalski of Justin, TX; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kathy Bilka of Burwell; and two nieces, Amy and Theresa Bilka.She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece and nephew, Debra and Wayne Bilka Sr.
