Bio
It was believed Charles Hudson, 12, attempted to save the life of Joe Bob Moore, 12, who could not swim. The bodies of both boys were found in 12 feet of water. Charles Homer Hudson was a member of the 8th grade at Goree High School. Double funeral services were held at the Goree High School for Charles Homer Hudson and Joe Bob Moore officiated by Rev. S.E. Stevenson and Rev. Copeland, Goree pastors. A large crowd of friends and relatives attended the service.
