The Victoria Advocate, August 18, 2009: Mrs. Lillie Emily Bandish, 87, of Victoria, formerly of Wharton, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009. She was born on Sept. 9, 1921 in East Bernard, the daughter of the late Joseph Litvik and Clara Pustejovsky Litvik. She was a long-time resident of Wharton County until moving to Victoria in 2002. She was a Catholic. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wharton Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Carville; her sons, Gregory Bandish, Mark Joseph Bandish, and Edwin Bandish Jr.; her brothers, Oscar Litvik and George Litvik; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
