Service for Glenn L. Guidinger, a former trust officer for Washington Trust Bank, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Valley Presbyterian Church, N5305 Harvard Road, Otis Orchards, where he was a charter member. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Guidinger, 72, died Saturday at his Spokane Valley home. Born in Coffee Creek, Mont., he was raised on a ranch in central Montana near Coffee Creek and came to Spokane in the late 1930s. He graduated from Kinman Business University. Mr. Guidinger was property manager of the Paulsen Building 20 years and joined Washington Trust Bank in 1967. He was named to the newly created position of property manager for the bank in 1968 and was appointed a trust officer in 1973. As property manager, he managed apartment buildings, stores, vacant land, the bank's farm trusts and the bank's own real estate. He retired from the bank as a trust officer in 1979. He was a past president and life member of the Spokane Building Owners & Managers Association and a past president and emeritus member of the Institute of Real Estate Management. Mr. Guidinger was a life member of the Spokane Consistory of Scottish Rite Bodies and of the Spokane Valley Shrine Club and a member of Concordia Masonic Lodge 249 and El Katif Shrine. He served with the Navy in the South Pacific for four years during World War II. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Joan; one daughter, Patricia Guidinger of Spokane; three sons, Bradley, Randall and Rodger Guidinger, all of Spokane; one brother; one sister; and nine grandchildren.
