The Marlow Review, Dec., 1908 & Jan., 1909 Footsteps, Volume 27, Number 2 of 3, May-August 2012 On last Sunday night, after an illness of more than a year, Miss Rose Crouch died at the home of her mother in this city. The remains were laid to rest the day following at the Bailey cemetery. She had been an invalid for several months, and while her death was not unexpected it was indeed a sad bereavement to her family and friends. We join the entire community of offering sincere condolence to the bereaved family. Jan. 8, 1909 The Marlow Review, January, 1909 Footsteps, Volume 27, Number 3 of 3, September-December 2012 Died Jan. 1, 1909, Rose Crouch, the youngest daughter of Mrs. Emma Crouch, of an illness of almost one year. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church, and throughout the entire sickness Rose was ever bright and cheerful, with a sweet smile for each of her friends. How she will be missed as she lay in her fragile beauty, surrounded by flowers. As the end approached so eager was she to go and be with Jesus and her loved ones gone before, that she called her mother, brother and sister and asked them to pray that God might come and take her soon. She then so beautifully clasped her thin little hands and prayed God to come and take her unto himself, and in a brief time she was with him in glory. One Who Loves Her, Jan. 29, 1909
