Tip West Crouch was born on October 23, 1882, in Burlington, Texas, his father, Clayborn, was 25 and his mother, Sara, was 24. He had two brothers and two sisters. He died on July 3, 1905, in Marlow, Oklahoma, at the age of 22. According to his obituary he was laid to next to his father.
