Bessie grew up on the family farm in Butler county, NE. She married George Krska in June 1937 in Butler county. They farmed in Seward county, Nebraska, near Ulysses. George and Bessie had two children, Bernard and infant daughter JoAnn (listed as Joan on cemetery transcription).
