People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), October 20, 1927, p. 1, col. 3 FATAL AUTO ACCIDENT The years and half old baby, named Eugene Kozisek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kozisek, who live south of Garrison, was instantly killed Sunday evening at the cross road two miles east of Ulysses. Two cars, one driven by Mr. Kozisek and the other occupied by Mrs. Lillian Brown and her sister, Edith Anderson, collided at the crossing, resulting in serious injury to Mrs. Kozisek who is in the David City hospital, and the death of her baby boy, who suffered a crushed skull. Funeral services were held at Dwight Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
