Bio

The Ulysses Dispatch (Ulysses, Nebr.), February 24, 1927, p. 5, col. 1 Leo Hottovy, a highly respected resident of Dwight and who has been ill for some time past, died, the funeral services being held at Dwight on Friday. Mr. Hottovy was 73 years old and leaves a widow, also a large family of children, all of whom are married. There are other relatives and a wide circle of friend who tender their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones left behind. A very large number of friend were present at the funeral services. Dwight, March 1 – Leopold Hottovy, respected resident of Dwight, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 16, after a long illness. He was 73 years of age. His widow and several children survive him. Funeral services were held in St. Mary's Catholic church, Dwight, on Friday, Feb. 19. Six sons-in-law of Mr. Hottovy were pallbearers, and members of the Catholic Workmen, of which Mr. Hottovy was a member, formed escort for the casket. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
