JOSIE HASEK DIES AT AGE OF 77 … Dwight, March 29 – Mrs. Josie Hasek, 77 years of age, passed away, March 7, at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Jerry Hlubocky. Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Assumption church in Dwight. The services were conducted by Monsignor Victor Mljenek and interment was in the Assumption cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were John G. Sabata, Raymond J. Svoboda, Jr., Louis Kakovec, John Zakovec III, Frank Zakovec, Jr., and Joe Racek. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zakovec, she was born February 28, 1873, at Morse Bluff. She resided in Morse Bluff and St. Paul and has been a resident of Dwight for the past 35 years. She is survived by her daughter, and son-in-law, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She leaves also one sister, Mrs. Anton Steiner of Wahoo, two brothers, John Zakovec II, of Morse Bluff, and Frank Zakovec, Sr., of Fremont. Those attending funeral services from away were: Louis Zakovec, John Zakovec, II, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Racek, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Racek all of Morse Bluff; Mr. and Mrs. John Zakovec III, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zakovec, Jr. of Cedar Bluffs; Jim Zakovec and Frank Zakovec, Sr., of Fremont; Mrs. Anton Steiner, Mrs. Cyrl Lanik, John Lanik, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lanik of Wahoo; and Mrs. Richard Otto of Ceresco.
