Published Obituary: The Hastings Daily Tribune (Hastings, Nebraska) 17 Feb 1948, Tue Page 9 James Rcek, 75, of Morse Bluff, died Monday night at a local hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clara Hubloc of Dewitt; one sister, Mrs. Emma Hynek of Fremont; and three brothers, John, Louis and Joe, all of Morse Bluff. The body is at the Livingston-Butler funeral Chapel. Published Obituary: Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 17 Feb 1948, Tue Page 12 "James Rcek Dies at Morse Bluff" Morse Bluff - James Racek, 75, native of this vicinity, died Monday evening at hospital in Hastings where he had been confined for the past month. Funeral services are to be announced later. The Moser funeral home of North Bend is in charge. For 50 years a resident of St. Paul, Mr. Racek was born on a farm three miles south of Morse Bluff. He farmed at St. Paul for many years and a month ago was taken to a hospital in Hastings. Survivors include three brothers, Lewis, John, and Joe, all of Morse Bluffs; and a sister, Emma, who lived northeast of Fremont.
