The Banner-Press (David City, Nebraska) 13 Apr 1989, Thu Page 8 Services Conducted at Dwight Saturday, April 8, for Thomas Fuxa Services for Thomas Fuxa of Dwight were conducted Saturday morning, April 8, from Dwight Assumption Church. Mr. Fuxa, 75, died Thursday, April 6, at Lincoln General Hospital. The Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated by Fathers James Cooper and Paul Sheehy. Relatives and friends from Council Bluffs, Ia., Omaha, Lincoln, York, Grand Island, Schuyler, and towns near Dwight attended the services. Thomas Fuxa, the son of Thomas and Tillie Foral Fuxa, was born April 17, 1913, at Dwight. He attended rural school. He was united in marriage to Adeline Dvorak on March 30, 1937, at Appleton. Three children were born to this union. Mr. Fuxa lived on the same farm near Dwight all of his life. A farmer, he was a member of Dwight Assumption Parish and the Catholic Workman. He is survived by his wife, Adeline of Dwight; two daughters, Sally Juranek of David City and Agnes Shonka of Gresham; a daughter-in-law, Lucy Fuxa of David City; a sister, Mary Polacek of Schuyler, 11 grandchildren and four great grandsons. His parents, a son, James, and a grandchild, Mary Ann Fuxa, preceded him in death.
