Bio

The Peoples Banner (David City, Nebr.), March 14, 1935, p. 8, col. 4 ULYSSES Mrs. Rose Duffek of Dwight, mother of Mrs. Agnes Mashek of Ulysses, passed away at her home on March 4th, aged 98 years. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago. She leaves 4 children, Mrs. Agnes Mashek, Emil, James and Andrew, also a large number of grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church at Dwight on March 7 and were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Father Bauer, many old friends and neighbors being present. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery at Dwight.
