Married Frantiska "Frances" Mikulas on October 29, 1895 at Plasi, Nebr. by Rev. Francis X. Hovora. Mr. Wenceslaus Dosek and Mr Thomas Cek were witnesses (Saunders County Marriages, Vol. 8, p. 256, no. 3629). He divorced her in Butler County in 1909. He was a saloon keeper in Dwight in the 1890s-early 1900s, later owned the Krenk & Dosek general merchandise store in Dwight with F. V. Krenk, and then operated a dray service. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dosek and children, from Ulysses, attended the funeral of Mr. Dosek's uncle, Frank Dosek, at Dwight Friday. Frank Dosek, who had been ill for some time, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the home of his brother, W. F. Dosek. Funeral services were held on Friday. Interment was in the Dwight cemetery.
