Bio
Mrs. Albert Cihal, 49, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 17, at her home near Valparaiso, where she had lived only one week. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Dwight. Mrs. Cihal, the former Albina Fiala, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Method Fiala, was born on a farm near Bruno July 18, 1897. Her marriage to Albert Cihal took place at Dwight Assumption Church February 12, 1918. Mrs. Cihal is survived by her husband; one son, Albert Cihal Jr., living at home; two daughters, Mrs. Cyril Sisel, of Dwight, and Mrs. Henry Greenwald of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren; Trudy June Greenwald, and Beverly and Buddy Sisel; her father and step-mother, who live in David City; and six brothers, Charles, of Valparaiso, Joseph of Ulysses, Emil of Forman, N.D., Mike of Bee, Louis of Lincoln, and Rudolph of David City. Two children died in infancy and her mother preceded her in death 23 years ago.
