Times Record News Wichita Falls, Texas November 24, 1951 WELLINGTON, Texas, November 23, 1951 Rev. John W. Russell, 79 year old retired Baptist minister, died at his home on Friday. Funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday from the First Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Jones conducting. Burial will be at Wellington. Rev. Russell was born August 8, 1872 at Springfield, Missouri. He became an ordained minister 48 years ago from Indian territory. Survivors include three sons, Sam and Otto of Wellington and John of Lubbock; three daughters, Mrs. W.C. Killingsworth and Mrs. Rudell Wood of Wellington and Mrs. J.P. Gilbreth of Hedley.
