'''''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), October 6, 1960, p. 5C, col. 5 Mrs. Frank Beran Services Held At Dwight Sept. 22 Funeral services were held at the Assumption Catholic church in Dwight on Sept. 22 for Mrs. Frank Beran, 73, who died at the Gray Rest Home in David City, September 20. The Rev. Michael Danko officiated at the services. Music was by the church choir. Pallbearer were Alfred and Jerome Novacek, John and Edward Knap, Elmer Bouc and Leonard Petrzilka. Burial was in the Dwight Cemetery. Barbara Anderly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Anderly, was born April 10, 1887, near Dwight. She was married to Frank Beran on Feb. 4, 1906. One daughter, who died in infancy, was born to them. Mr. and Mrs. Beran lived on a farm near Dwight for several years but had lived in Dwight for over thirty years. Mr. Beran died Feb. 15, 1955. For the past year, Mrs. Beran had resided at the Gray Rest Home. She was a member of Assumption Church in Dwight. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emma Knap of Valparaiso, a brother, Joseph Anderly of Dwight, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and daughter, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
