Bio

Jenny's husband, James Masters is mentioned in the records of the original Swamp Creek Baptist Church, and it is believed that the Masters and McConnells were all members of the early church. Jenny was living in Walker Co., GA, when she died, but she had requested that she be taken back to Swamp Creek Cemetery for burial. Her family left Walker County at 4:00 AM in a wagon in order to have Jenny's body in Dalton and her funeral that afternoon in this cemetery.
