Bio
Isaac 'Ike' Kliewer, the son of John H. and Katharina (Ott) Kliewer, was born at Stockham, Nebraska on August 14, 1934 and died in Eldorado, Nebraska on October 4, 2002, at the age of 68. He grew up in the Stockham area, where he attended school through the 8th grade. Ike was united in marriage to Nola Jeffers on January 8, 1953 on Gladys & James Kirk's farm in Hamilton County. They had lived in Eldorado since 1954. Ike's early work life consisted of working in the seed corn business until 1967. He then went to work for New Holland in Grand Island. Ike worked at New Holland until he retired in 1992. Nola passed away on February 15, 1999. Ike enjoyed golfing and playing darts. He will be missed by his dog Snickers, who was his loyal companion. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nola, six brothers, Frank, John, Albert, Henry, George and Abe; two sisters, Susie and Tena and three sisters-in-law, Catherine Kliewer, Margaret Kliewer and Mary Kliewer. Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Cindy Tessman and her husband Don of Aurora, Kim and his wife Darlene of Aurora and Tom and his wife Arlys of Eldorado; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Tessman of Lincoln, Dawn Werth and her husband Shawn of Aurora, Peggy Sue Preissler and her husband Jason of Harvard, Dana Kliewer of Aurora, Clayton Kliewer of Hastings and Ashley Cox and her husband Eric of Harvard and 5 great-grandchildren, Alisha, Bailey, Briana, Morgan and Khali. He is also survived by a sister, Justina Nunnenkamp and her husband Eugene; a brother, Dave Kliewer and his wife Joyce and two sisters-in-law, Agnes Kliewer and Delores Kliewer.
