Bio

Mr. Cook was born march 18, 1942 in Spring Hill Community (Denton County), Texas to Ethel Margret and Henry Hudson Cook, Sr. His family moved to Andrews from Rankin in 1952. Henry graduated from Andrews High School in 1960. He got married January 27, 1961 in Andrews. He worked for Andrews County for many years before working for Amoco and eventually retiring with them. Henry served Andrews County as a Volunteer Fire fighter since 1966; he served as Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief. He went on inactive duty in 2006. He loved to fish, hunt and shoot and he was a member of the Midland Shooters Club. He was a member of Means Memorial United Methodist Church in Andrews. He loved his family and loved having his sons and grandchildren with him. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Cook.
