LUCINDA DIED AT FRISCO ON FEBRUARY 22 BURIAL TOOK PLACE NEXT DAY AT WILSON CHAPEL Mrs. Lucinda M. Smith, 80 years 2 months and 8 days old, died Saturday afternoon, February 22, at the home of her son, Millard E. Smith, at Frisco, with whom she made her home during the last six years of her life. She had been ill for several weeks when she passed away. Her burial took place Sunday afternoon beside the grave of her husband in Wilson Chapel cemetery. The maiden name of the deceased was Lucinda M. Smith. She was born at Burksville, Cumberland county, Kentucky, where she was reared and twice married, both of her husbands being brothers, named Smith, as was her own maiden name. Her first husband, Charles Smith, died after two children had been born to them. She then married Thomas A. Smith. After her second marriage they came to Texas a number of years ago and were living in the Wilson Chapel community, six miles southeast of McKinney, when her second husband died on April 30, 1910 {sic: 7 May 1910} . She professed religion and joined the Methodist church when she was 14 years old, and had always lived a consistent christian life. She is survived by the following children: Millard E. Smith of Frisco, E. F. Smith, Faxon, Okla.; Weller Smith and Sam Smith, both living southeast of McKinney about six or seven miles; P. A. (Deck) Smith, Woodland, Red River county, Texas; Mrs. Pearl Pruitt, Portland, Ariz. {sic: OR} , and Mrs. Binure Heim, Evansville, Ind.
