The Beaumont Enterprise, August 23, 2011: Glen Siecko, of Beaumont, formerly of Edna, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011, at the age of 64. He was born in Morales, Texas on March 19, 1947 to the late Johnnie Siecko and Mary Woytek Siecko. Glen worked for and retired from the City of Beaumont after 37 years of service. He has been a member of the (TPA) Travelers Protective Association Post P in Beaumont since 1976. He was also a deacon of the New Birth Community Baptist Church in Beaumont. Glen is survived by his sisters, Patsy Lewis of Sugar Land and Barbara A. James (John) of Houston; brothers, Gary W. Siecko of Edna, Melvin J. Siecko (Robbie) of Edna, and Lynn A. Siecko (Donna) of Tomball; nieces and nephews, Chris, Shane, Jason, Amy, Bryce and Jordyn Siecko, Shaye Siecko Morales, and Mark Lewis; uncle, Fred James Siecko (Nelda); aunts, Edna Haas, Josephine Lemke, Oretha Pennock (Norman), and Rose Fitch (William); as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Oaklawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Oaklawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Geiger Cemetery in Sublime, TX at 4:00 p.m. John Mercer will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Siecko, Mark Lewis, Shane Siecko, Jason Siecko, Brandon Morales, and Bill Benoit. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Siecko, Shaye Siecko Morales, Amy Siecko, Jordyn Siecko, John M. James and George (Sonny) Chiles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donors choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. 361-782-2221.
