CPL US Army WWII. Willard E. Rowland, 54, of 319 Railroad St., South Lebanon, died Sunday, November 23, in Middletown Hospital. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 186 of Lebanon and the National Sheriff's Association. Survivors include his wife Tennie; one son, Wayne R. Rowland, with the Coast Guard in Cincinnati; two brothers Hearl Rowland of Lebanon and Robert Rowland of Mason; one sister, Edria Rowland of Columbus; two grandchildren. Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Oswald Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial at South Lebanon Cemetery. (Western Star 26 Nov 1975) "Married March 11, 1944"
