Tennie ROWLAND ROWLAND, Tennie `Tina` (Courtney) of Port Orchard, Washington formerly of South Lebanon, Ohio, passed peacefully June 21, 2008 at the Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Center with her family by her side. Born April 5, 1922 in Reardon, Texas, she was the daughter of George and Rachael (Mahman) Courtney and will be remembered by many from her years of employment with the Kings Local School District where she was a school cook. Tennie was a member of the South Lebanon Church of the Nazarene, also worked in home health care and had been a member of the Union Township - South Lebanon Fire and Rescue Auxillary. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her children, son - Wayne ( Arlene Kay) Rowland of Port Orchard, Washington and grandsons Christopher and Michael Rowland. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 12:00pm in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
