******************************************* Agnes L. Schrock, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Sharp) Jemison, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska on May 28, 1903, and passed away suddenly at her home in Giltner on February 3, 1983, at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 5 days. She was raised in the Giltner area where she attended country school and graduated from Giltner High School. After her graduation she taught school for one year. On January 2, 1923 she was united in marriage to Carl W. Schrock in Hamilton County. She lived near Giltner all of her life where she and her husband farmed. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother LeRoy Jemison. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Carl; one son Don L. Schrock of Alda; one daughter Mrs. Leola Mae Fries of Grand Island; 3 sisters, Mrs. Inez Wright of Lincoln, Ms. Jean Lucile Jemison of Lincoln and Mrs. Caroline Nydegger of New Paltz, New York; one brother Earl Jemison of Aurora; 2 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons and other relatives and close friends. Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 7, 1983 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.
