Bio

The Wellington Leader July 13, 1995 Lillian Hajek, 93, of Wellington, died Wednesday, July 5, 1995. She was born on August 24, 1901 in Montgomery, MI to Charles and Annie Zvanovec Kolar. She moved to Watonga, OK with her family in 1904. They moved to Walter, OK in 1913. She married Frank Hajek on June 17, 1925 in Wichita Falls. He died in 1956. They had come to Wellington in 1925. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons: Charles "Chuck" Hajek of Grand Junction, CO; Bill Hajek of Wichita Falls and Ed Hajek of Azle, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Cheshier in 1994 and by two brothers and two sisters.
