Bio

Rose C. Oehme, 100, of David City died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at David Place in David City. Rose, was born on March 28, 1912 to Anton and Caroline (Divis) Kucera at Loma, Nebraska. Rose married Adolph Oehme on October 27, 1931. Three children were born to this union. Rose was a honorary member of St. Francis Altar Society and the PCCW of St. Mary's Church, David City. Rose is survived by her children: Jack (Mary) Oehme of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Doris (Marvin) Bernt of Shelby, Ne, five grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Adolph in 1982, one daughter, Marie Lovelace, one granddaughter, Judy Paulsen, and two sisters, Agnes O'Callaghan and Toni Engler. Burial was in the St. Francis Cemetery.
