Annie B. Hougesen, 84 of Newton, Texas, died on Aug. 5, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Sep. 2, 1927 in Shelby Co., Texas and had lived in Newton for most of her life. She is survived by daughter, Norma Hougesen LaBeth of Hemphill, TX, sons, Andy Hougesen of Newton, TX, Eddie Hougesen and wife Charlene of Wiergate, TX and James Ray Hougesen and wife, Levida of Burkeville, TX; one sister-in-law, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 6 great grandchildren and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harry Edren Hougesen, her son, Tommy Hougesen, son-in-law, Kenneth LaBeth, parents, Issac and Emmer Brittain Eddins, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
