Dorothy A. David BORN: June 1, 1929 DIED: August 20, 2010 LOCATION: Georgetown, TX Dorothy Alice David, 81, of Georgetown, Texas passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 in Round Rock. Dorothy was born on June 1, 1929 in Taylor, Texas to Frank B. and Hermina (Kovar) Wentrcek. She married Edward David on February 2, 1948 in Taylor, Texas. Dorothy graduated from Granger High School in 1947 and went to work as the secretary for the county commissioners office. Dorothy later went to work for the Austin State School in 1961 until retiring in 1989. Dorothy had a strong faith and over the years attended the Weir Baptist Church and most recently the Celebration Church. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, James David and wife Maureen of Georgetown, Larry David and wife Vivian of Georgetown; one brother, Melvin Wentrcek; grandchildren, James, Jr. and wife Andrea, Justin and wife Casey, Brian, Laura, and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Keirstyn, Corey, Ryan, Ryder, and Nadia; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward David,and one sister, Jeanette Wentrcek. Serving as pallbearers will be Victor David, Clarence David, Bobby David, John Kopacz, David Hanusch, Tom Addison, and Richard Harwell. A visitation with the family will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Mason of Celebration Church officiating.
