Herminia Kovar Wentrcek, 95, of Georgetown passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the SPJST Nursing Home. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2006 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Providence Funeral Home with Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial will follow at the Granger Brethren Cemetery. Hermina Kovar Wentrcek was born on January 19, 1911 to George and Frances (Frlica) Kovar in Granger. On February 16, 1927, she was married to Frank B. Wentrcek. She was a lifetime resident of Williamson County. Hermina was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She always helped out on the farm. Hermina was very tender hearted woman who loved everyone and was always willing to help or share with others. She loved to grow beautiful flowers and to work in her garden. Hermina loved gospel music and the Lord Jesus Christ whom she gave her heart to. She was a member of the Taylor Brethren Church. Hermina was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Tracy Zrubek, Agnes Volcik, Tonni Kovar, and Emilia Kovar; three half-brothers, John, George, and Thomas (Tom) Kovar; two half-sisters, Frances Kovar Zbranek and Mary Kovar Krupala; seven nephews; her husband, Frank B. Wentrcek; daughter, Jeannette Jannelle Wentrcek; and a son-in-law, Edward David. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy David; her son, Melvin Wentrcek; two grandsons, James David and wife, Maureen and Larry David and wife, Vivian; great grandsons, James David, Jr. Justin David, and Brian David; great granddaughter, Laura David; great-great grandsons, Corey and Jeffrey David; great-great granddaughter, Keirstyn David; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
