Eucha - Leonard King, 65, died Saturday. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Grand Lake Funeral Home, Jay, and service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Cave Springs Fellowship, Grove. (Tulsa World) ----------------------- Leonard Eugene King, age 65, longtime resident of Delaware County, passed from this life on July 28, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Mr. King was born on March 8, 1947 in Zena, OK, to Dorothy and Sherman. Leonard was a Truck Driver; he married Edwina Simmons on November 1, 1996, in Miami, Ok. And they made their home in Eucha. Leonard loved to drive his truck. He liked to fish, but loved his church, The Cave Springs Fellowship where he was a member. Leonard is survived by his wife of the home in Eucha; one son and wife; one daughter and husband; seven brothers and spouses; two sisters and husbands; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. Leonard was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Sherman and Dorothy, three brothers Leon King, Jimbo King, Arlie Johnson and one Sister Muriel Staggs. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Grand Lake Funeral Home in Jay from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 1, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at the Cave Springs Fellowship in Grove, Ok, with Pastor Jim York officiating. Interment will follow at New Eucha Cemetery in Eucha, OK. Services are under the Direction of Grand Lake Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Jay, Oklahoma.
