Bio

Daughter of Jacob Paul & Lucy (Meinke) Louis. Jeanette was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. She attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Columbus High School. She attended Norfolk Junior College. Jeanette worked at the Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha and Lincoln, and the Office Chief of Engineers in Washington, D.C. Jeanette joined NASA at Cocoa Beach, Florida before transferring to Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, where she worked for 37 years. Jeanette enjoyed crafts, reading, traveling, walking her dog "Matt", and flower gardening. She took great pride in the many varieties of roses that she raised. Jeanette is survived by: Mother - Lucy Louis of Columbus, NE Sister - Nancy (Warren) Munch of Lincoln, CA Sister - Susan ( Rick) Pohle of Cupertino, CA Brother - Paul (Marcia) Louis of Columbus, NE Brother - Dan (Roberta) Louis of Thornton, CO 10 Nieces and Nephews 2 Great Nieces and Nephews Jeanette was preceded in death by: Father - Jacob Paul Louis on October 20, 2000
