According to my records, Josiah Cyrus Bays was born 1810 in North Carolina to Joshua and Ruth Ann (Sanders) Bays. He married Elizabeth Bays Oct.15, 1835 in Greene Co., Indiana. They were the parents of Lucy, Milly, Arnilla Hester, Josiah C Jr, Mary Letta, Jarvis J, William J, James J, John H, Rachel K, Alfred C, Davis and Wiley.
