Lucile Johnson Evans White, age 93 died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at the Beehive Home in American Fork, Utah of Causes Incident To Age. She was born June 18, 1914 in Lehi, Utah, daughter of Charles Lenard and Jennie Christina Peterson Johnson. She married Karl Robinson Evans, March 18, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 20, 1954. She later married Mark Irvin White, who passed away Sept. 29, 1992. Lucile worked as Lehi City Treasurer. She served in the LDS Church in all the organizations and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved sewing, spending time with her family and many, many grandkids to whom she was very devoted and who she dearly loved. The family is thankful to Craig and Karol Smedley and their staff at the Beehive Home in American Fork for their loving care of Lucile. Survived by one son and four daughters, Max J. Evans (Mary), Gaithersburg, MD; Karlyn Fowler (DeVere), Kathleen Lott (Robert), both of Lehi; Jennifer Barratt (Ted), American Fork; Lois Steiner (Don), Glastonbury, CT; 25 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, 3 sisters, Helen Owens, Inez Nielsen, and Betty Barnhurst. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment: Lehi City Cemetery. Published in the Deseret News on 12/9/2007.
