Bio

Rosey was the daughter of James Thomas and Amanda Jane Ledbetter Pierce She was the fourth born of thirteen children. Rosie married Thomas Franklin Layman, December 22, 1901. A son Charles Orville Layman was born September 23, 1902. This marriage ended in divorce. Rosie married Iley Fennimore Hensley, son of Thomas Austin and Malinda Elizabeth Pierce Hensley. The marriage took place March 29, 1910 in Oregan County, Missouri. Rosey and Iley made their home in Black Pond, Organ County, Missouri. During the next several years three boys were born. Ruphus Paul, Archie Deroyn and Leroy.
