Bio

Marie was the daughter of Pavel Novacek and Veronika Zoubek. Marie was married to Peter Racicky in Moravia about 1874. They had five children: Gabriella, Marie, Louis, Anton and Bertha. Peter died in Moravia between 1882 and 1886. Marie married Emmerich Vesely (later Americanized to Wesely) about 1886, and in July 1892, the whole family immigrated to America--all 5 of the Racicky children and Marie & Emmerich's 3-year old son, Ladislaus. They settled in Nebraska where another son, Frank, was born in 1893. Marie died two years later--1895.
