LEHI, Utah - Judith Peck Whimpey, age 67 of Lehi, died August 26, 2004 at her home She was born July 27, 1937 in Lehi, daughter of Thomas J. and Fay Beck Peck. She married Robert J. Whimpey, June 16, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Judy graduated from Lehi High School. She was a homemaker and loved helping her husband with their horses. She served in the LDS Church in many positions in the Relief Society, Primary, Young Women, and as a Ward and Stake Librarian. She always had a beautiful yard and enjoyed doing things around her home, especially when she could do things for other people. Survived by her husband of Lehi, one son and three daughters: Jay Robert (Kim) Whimpey, Farr West, Utah; Joan (Tony) Southwick, Taylorsville; Dian (John) Joseph, Micco, Florida; Sue (Larry) Williams, Lehi; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grand children; brothers and sisters: Tony (Janice) Peck, Dixie (Steve) Houghton, Cindy Yates, Tom (Judy) Peck, Nicki (Jerry) Hunter, Ted (Glenda) Peck, all of Lehi; her mother-in-law, Vera Whimpey, who depended on her so much; sisters-in-law: Bill and JaNeane Jacob, American Fork; Val and Elaine Tucker, Lehi; Fern Gray, Alpine. Funeral services held Monday, August 30, 2004 in the Lehi East Stake Center, 900 North 1200 East. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 8/28/2004.
