Roger Tom Peck passed away with family by his side on Christmas Eve December 24, 2021 in South Jordan, Utah at the age of 74 after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1947 to Thomas J and Fay Beck Peck. He grew up in Lehi, Utah and graduated from Lehi High School in 1965. He married Judy Mae Hall on January 21,1966 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had 3 children together. In their 39 years together, he worked hard but they enjoyed camping and hunting and spending as much time at Lake Powell as they could with family and lifelong friends. Judy passed away in 2005 after suffering from MS for many years. In 2006 Tom married Jada Enniss who gave meaning to his life again. Together they went on adventures, traveled the world, spent priceless time with family and made forever friendships. Family and grandchildren were such a big part of his life. Tom grew up in the mining & trucking industry, working with his father at Thomas J Peck & Sons, and later the owner of Peck Trucking. He always took more to the trucks and was very particular about his fleet of nice trucks being clean and sharp at all times. He was truly a leader in the industry with respect and friendship from those who knew him. He had the privilege of being given many awards, including the honor of being the recipient of the Utah Trucking Association's Grand Award in 2014. He continued to work, still rolling tires until his diagnosis in November. He will be missed more than words can say. Tom is survived by his wife Jada, children Sandy (Steven) Schoonover, Roger (Missy) Peck, Sheri (Dan) Smederovac, Shea (Katie) Enniss, Tiffany Sterner, Brittany Killian, 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren A private viewing and service is on Thursday December 30, 2021. He will be laid to rest at Lehi City Cemetery. Published by Salt Lake Tribune from Dec. 29, 2021 to Jan. 2, 2022 and Deseret News from Dec. 29 to Dec. 31, 2021.
