The Daily Telegram, January 3, 1966 KULA--Kula services to be Tuesday Funeal services for Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Kula, 87, St. Edward, who died Saturday morning at St. Mary's hospital after being ill several months, will be held at 10 a.m Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Krakow. Rev. Stefan Flisiak will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body lies in state at Fleming-McKown Funeral Home, Silver Creek, where rosary was to be prayed at 3 p.m. today by the Altar Society and 7:30 p.m. by the parish. She was born March 10, 1878, in Polk county, the daughter of Blase and Katherine Kogie Boruch, and attended Polk county schools. On April 28, 1902, she was married to Joseph Kula at St. Mary's church, Pilsno. Mrs. Kula resided on a farm near Genoa until two years ago, when she made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zurovski, St. Edward. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul parish and the Rosary Altar Society. Surviving are one son, Blazac, St. Edward; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Advena) Morris of Fullerton, Mrs. John (Laura) Gdowski of Monroe, Mrs. Leo (Marie) Stach of Monroe, and Mrs. Edward (Delores) Zurovski of St. Edward and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, on Jan. 13, 1956; two sons, Thomas and Edward; her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
