Daughter of Joe Michna and Mary Holub Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Jan. 1, 1969 Vackar Services At Seydler-Hill Chapel Funeral services were scheduled today, Wednesday, at 3 p.m. in the Seydler-Hill Funeral chapel for Mrs. Laddie Vackar who died in a Taylor nursing home at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Allen Collins, pastor of First Lutheran church, officiated at the service with burial following in the Gonzales Memorial Park. Mrs. Vacakar was born on Feb. 14, 1884, in Fayette county, the daughter of Joe and Mary Holbert Michna. On September 25, 1905, she was married to Laddie Vackar. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1969. For many years the couple resided in Gonzales and Gonzales county with place of residence at the time of his death at 816 St. Vincent Street. For the past two years Mrs. Vackar had been living in a nursing home in Taylor. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles F. (Gladys) Schraeder of Route 2, Gonzales; Mrs. Walter(Julia) Schroeder of Thompsonville; Mrs. E. H. (Loren) Fitch of Texas City; one son, Glenn Vackar of Bryan; 12 grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Also surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Henry Marcek of Karnes City; Mrs. Mary Loos of San Antonio; three brothers, Henry Michna of Karnes City; James Michna of Corpus Christi; and Julius Michna of Wichita Falls.
