Graveside services for Chester Virgil Medders, 58 of Wink, were held Tuesday, June 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Kermit Cemetery with Rev. Bill Campbell officiating. Cooper Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangments. Born June 5, 1928, Medders died Friday, June 6 at his home. He was a retired tool pusher for Noble Drilling Company and had lived in Winkler County for approximately ten years. Survivors include four daughters, Sherry Hampton of Spring, Tx., Dora Smith of Enid, Ok., and Deborah Lima and Mary Dawson, both of Midland; a brother, Lonnie Medders of Midland; and six grandchildren.
