Bio
Son of Charles Sr. & Rosie (Klat) Vancura. He attended school in Valley County. On November 25, 1941 he was united in marriage to Clara Micek at St. Mary's Church in Elyria, Nebraska. The couple farmed before moving to Columbus in 1986. Charles was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and Holy Name. He is survived by: Wife: Clara Vancura of Columbus, NE Daughter: Sharon (Morgan) Stogdill of Council Bluffs, IA Son: Alan (Sandra) Vancura of Hastings, NE Son: Larry (Janet) Vancura of Henderson, NE Son: Lyle (Jaci) Vancura of Columbus, NE Sister: Rose Holoun of Ord, NE Brother: Edwin (Donna) Vancura of Ord, NE Eight Grandchildren He was preceded by: Parents: Charles & Rosie (Klat) Vancura and one infant sister
